After working in an office for 19 years, I realized that life could be a great journey, with happiness as the destination. So I decided to draw and tell stories. Through my books, I invite you into a world where we invent legends and find good reasons to be here. Walking through meadows and forests are my sources of inspiration, and I always come home with pockets full of wildflowers, autumn leaves, and ideas to paint with watercolors.
MY PUBLISHING HOUSE
After living in Germany for eight years, I decided in 2011 to reinvent my world by writing and illustrating stories. That’s why I created “Editions Cybellune”, a publishing house dedicated to rewinding time, expressing feelings inspired by the seasons, and letting readers sail on watercolor bubbles. Here, we love to travel to a century not quite like our own, and to dive into a cozy atmosphere where illustrations evoke cherished memories.
THE STORY OF THE DRAWING BOOKS
I constantly asked myself the question: ‘How can I enable people to draw easily with a stunning result?’ A book was necessary, but I lacked the method. I therefore let the project mature for several months, and one beautiful morning, the idea sprang forth with such clarity that even the sky must have heard me shout for joy. I realized that by breaking down complex subjects into simple geometric modules, anyone could draw without getting lost in technical details.
